Check up at vet....

Well I took my little fighting champion doggies to the vet today for a checkup. Zoey's face swelling has gone down A TON and she is almost recognizable now. She is still having trouble breathing because of all the swelling. Her poor little nose skin was splitting because it was swelling so much! Poor little lamb.....anyways....Zoey has lost 8 pounds...that isn't good.....but she really isn't eating...so I gotta watch that...along with everything else! She is healing good though. Nilla is basically fine. I mean other than the stitches that she does have. Her chest is healing good and she doesn't have to wear the gauze, or as I called it "her purple tank top", anymore. Her legs are still swollen, but half the size they were, so I still tell her she has KANKLES! Anyways, I gotta take them both back in a few weeks for their annual checkup and shots...plus just checking on their progress...or really poor little Zoey's progress! When I woke up this morning, Zoey was wagging her tail and giving me kisses....so I knew she was going to be fine :) They are now sitting here licking each other...I mean seriously.....you try to kill each other and then love on each other....gimmee a break! I mean, not like I was wanting them to continue to fight, but you can't do that....literally disfigure the other one and then, pretend it never happened. They should be GROUNDED! Bad puppies. But I love them dearly!
