Birthday Weekend Wrap up.....
Well, it is now 364 days until my birthday! YES! Ha! Just kidding.....Yesterday was my birthday. Big 2-7! Whoo hoo! Pretty close to 30...a little TOO close if you ask me! Anyways...we were just lazy on Saturday....oh yeah, I posted that day....I forgot. Ok so we will just talk about Sunday. Ronnie and I left at 6:30 in the morning and drove to Dallas to see Jeff's triathlon. It was FREEZING and RAINING in Dallas.....not ideal weather for a triathlon AT ALL! Of course I didn't dress appropriately for the freezing weather.....but whatever. I survived. There were lots of dogs there. We stood next to a great dane named Duke that was soooooo sweet. Jeffrey got 10th in his age group and 108th overall. There were about 1300 people that were in this thing.....I am SOOOOOOOOO not a triathloner...... :) Then Ronnie, crabby daddy, mama, and I went and ate at the Cheesecake Factory afterwards. I was sooooooo pumped about eating french toast!!!! And then it was SOGGY! UGH! I never want french toast from there AGAIN! Dad got the biggest burrito that I have ever seen.....and ate ALL of it except 2 bites! The waitress told him that if they had a plaque, that his name would be at the top because she had NEVER seen anyone eat that much of it! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Such a proud moment for all of us at the table! :) Then us 4 went to Orange Cup....had to introduce the mom and pop to the love of my life! (Orange Cup) Mama didn't like it....weirdo....everyone loves Orange Cup! It must not have fit the criteria for the bubble.... :) Dad loved it of course.....Ronnie loved it of course and got a large like me......and I have a never ending stomach for the stuff......I was very tempted to ask them if I could just stick my head under the machine and turn it on for my birthday :) I resisted and stayed in my seat. :( Mama and Crabby Daddy left after that and Ronnie and I went shopping for a bit. Well Louis Vuitton was out of my phone cover that I have been coveting for quite some time. And all the stores in the Dallas area were sold out as well! Then Anthropologie didn't have my shoes and Steve Madden was out of my size in the shoes that I wanted there as well! It was HORRIBLE! I was so overcome with sad emotion that I had to eat ANOTHER Orange Cup! I surrendered to my addiction and ended up going in other stores and getting some cute stuff! Other than the lack of the items that I desperately needed......I was able to pull myself together and find other items that I didn't know that I needed, but realized that I did the second that I laid my eyes on them of course :) After shopping, we went home, parents and Jeffery came over and we grilled steaks, mac and cheese, and corn. YUM YUM YUM YUM!!!! Jeff stayed the night with us. He gave me the cutest piece of cake box that my gifts came in.....super cute! I got a watch, can of corn (my fav food and obsession), a "corn purse" for emergency uses of corn, a hilarious singing card that talks about waffles, and a candle that smells like freaking CAKE! I had a good day. :)
sounds like a great birthday...wish i could have been there. Geesh, a guy who puts some thought into his gift giving...Jeff is a gem!
