Today's Lunch:
1/2 sandwich and some Toy Story gummy snacks....all I am missing is a juice box and I could share my lunch with the 3 year old down the hall....LOL

Ok, so I, not surprisingly, slid off the horse of exercise and good eating habits. I would like to take this time to blame it on my mother. I mean OBVIOUSLY it is her fault. She makes all this good food and has all these desserts sitting around for me to grab and shove in my mouth before I can even resist. And then you are so full that you don't want to run or walk or jog or anything having to do with movement in the Texas heat. But here I am....victorious in my 2nd day of no sweets and continuing on my training for the 5k. I am serious this time. No sweets. And that is really hard for me.....that is like taking away my reason for getting up in the morning....so no more sweets.....unless it is pinkberry and with a fruit topping....not brownine bites....oooooo brownie bites.....yum....SEE, there I go again! NO BROWNIE BITES! UGH! Anyways....onward ho!

Since I am bummed today about Zoey not feeling good. I am trying to think of something that will make me laugh. I am reminded about a story that my brother told me a year or so ago. He use to work at a gym in Tyler. One day when he was at the front desk, a man came up and asked to use the phone. Jeff handed him the phone and he called his wife. I do not remember exactly what he said to his wife, but it went something like this: "Hey, I am at the gym. Can you bring me a clean pair of underwear, shorts, and a plastic bag ASAP? Thanks."

YUCK! LOL

Well I have a vet appointment today for Zoey around 4:30. She isn't doing that great still. I am really nervous as to what they are gonna tell me....ugh....DO NOT CRY YOU WIMP...

I think he likes it....

She was having good dreams cuz she kept smiling and wrinkling her nose the whole time....so stinking cute! She gets to come home tomorrow! Yea!!!!

I just want to point out that I have faithfully been doing my training to run a 5k....and not stop after 15 seconds. I have been following this online Couch to 5k plan. So for 9 weeks, I am suppose to follow what they tell me to do. So while exercising, I have been having to mentally calculate when I am suppose to run and walk. WELL!....I just realized that they have an iPhone app for that! So this whole time....I could have just been concentrating on running and walking instead of how long I have been doing what and tiring myself out mentally! LOL. This app will tell me "RUN" and then "WALK" when I am suppose to. It tells me everything! So thank you iPhone, for making it easy for me to be lazy even when I am exercising! YESSSS!

Please pray for Zoey. I don't think that she is doing too well. I need to take her to the vet to get her checked out, but I scared to death to hear what they are gonna tell me. I have a feeling that it won't be great news. I mean, she has lived longer than what they thought she would already. Last April, they told me that she probably wouldn't make it a year, and 14 months later, she is still here! But, I am just saying....I just have this feeling....She still has her lively moments...but they aren't enough to balance out the bad ones lately. Oh man.....woman up Grayce! Take care of your kids! LOL

I just want to clarify something with any new potential blog followers. I read my post from like 2 minutes ago and realized that I live the life of a 98 year old woman, minus the prunes and wheelchair. I am 28 years old. However, I would like to point out that I am EXHAUSTED and that is why there are no exciting plans to go skydiving, or mountain climbing, or I don't even know what. If you owned Nilla for a day, you would realize that taking her on a walk was a big deal....LOL

Well here I am at work, working, yes I am stopping for a total of maybe 2 minutes to post this, But whatever, I haven't taken any breaks this whole week. SO THERE! ANYWAYS!....I am so ready to be off today already. I feel exhausted! So here is my plan for when I get off work:

1) get deoderant somewhere cuz I am completely out! I was putting it on this morning and the little bit that was left broke off in my shirt and I couldn't find it! LOL

2) drive to parents

3) do my usual walk with Nilla and then running

4) feed the dogs

5) eat supper

6) call Ronnie to see if he is gonna be back anytime soon

7) sit on the couch, stare at the TV until I realize that I am not actually going to watch it, go get my kindle and read my book

8) shower-yes this is on my list otherwise I will forget to wake up early enough in the morning to wash my hair....lol again

9) play with Scoob while he runs around the house like a wild mountain lion kitty

10) go to bed...please Lord let this be before 10pm...which means that I will need to take my sleep pills around 8:45 in order to fall asleep by 10:00...setting my alarm now! LOL

11) call Ronnie again and get his voicemail. LOL

So I was taking my 2 daily Flax Seed Oil pills that I take everyday and happened to notice the nutitional facts on the bottle. There are 25 calories in each pill. Seriously? Calories in vitamins? I mean, am I just sheltered or did anyone else know this??!!?! I can only imagine how many calories were in those yummy Flintstone vitamins that my mama made me take as a kid! LOL

That is my angry & frustrated face.....lol

I just want to point out that fat kid over here already had basically her entire day's intake of food by 10:00am....and am already hungry again....and no I did not exercise last night....blah....and I wore a romper to work today....on the day that I have already had 2 liters of water. Romper and Pee-a-lot are NOT friends!

I took my extensions out.....phew. That was hard to admit and say out loud......but it was going to be obvious when someone saw me. I am pretty sure that I am at least 5 lbs lighter now. So does that count with my diet? LOL

I was texting with Christia this morning. She told me that her little boy, Tyler, was saying his prayers the other night and he thanked Jesus for his Aunt Graycie. Talk about melting your heart....so precious!

I am training for a 5k, which is 3.1 miles. Pinkberry is located exactly 3.1 miles from my house. Coincidence? I think not.....

My mama sent me this pic of my Gramma being recognized at the school that she works at for 43 years of service to them.....43 YEARS!!!! She is FINALLY retiring this year! Go granny!Her is so short....I love her.

Ronnie and I went to Flagpole Hill at White Rock Lake (for those who think they can find it by driving around the lake, you are wrong, and it is pointless.....you need to map it. LOL) Memorial Day night (is that an oxymoron?) to hear the Dallas Symphony play patriotic tunes and have a fireworks display. It was really relaxing....once we found it.....halfway through the show. It is NOT on the lake. We should have looked up...for the giant flag....it would have been a dead giveaway.....cuz it is literally on the FLAGPOLE HILL....on a grassy knoll.....just like a story book. We brought our blanket (which is now covered in burrs or whatever you call them on one side) and laid down. The weather was perfect. It was really relaxing....wish we would have found it sooner! LOL.....but glad we did eventually!

Pinkberry doesn't have coconut yogurt anymore. Yeah I know, I almost died. So now they have watermelon. I am in complete love......OMG....coconut who?
