Easter Weekend...
Well my mom's sister, a.k.a Aunt Cheryl, came to visit for Easter from Iowa. She got here Friday, then Ronnie and I left that evening to go back to Dallas until Sunday. We came back Sunday afternoon for Easter with the fam and she headed back to Iowa today.... :( Didn't get to see much of her, but I am glad that I DID get to see her! She is an avid blog reader of mine....so sweet! She always leaves comments that crack me UP! She treated me to yogurt last night at this new place in Longview called Diddy's. I settled for sugar free vanilla with 8,000 calories worth of chocolate toppings...fabulous......it was so rich, that I couldn't even finish it! Yes, I know...I am disappointed in MYSELF!!!! Wait, wait, wait...I need to start at the beginning of the weekend....let's say Friday once we got to Dallas...AHEM!.....
FRIDAY- got to Dallas that night, unloaded everything and went to eat at Cantina Laredo cuz us fat kids were STARVING! It is a mexican restaurant that is across from Pinkberry. I decided that all I wanted was queso and corn tortillas...it was yummy! AND, I just want to highly suggest that you do NOT go to a MEXICAN restaurant and order an ITALIAN MARGARITA....no bueno. But I was a trooper and finished er off!...along with the tortillas and queso....MOVING ALONG!....
SATURDAY- woke up, cleaned the house, which I do whenever I am there...well a lite cleanup, like straightening, making sure no mold is growing anywhere, sweep up the dustbunnies....you know, general cleaning. WELL I decided to go all out and clean like a freak! AAAAAAAAAND I did. Ronnie went and rode his motorcycle that he got running again so it was me and the animals. The animals napped and I cleaned. What a great way to spend your ONE day off from work and travel. HAHA! When he got back from riding,we went to Northpark Mall for a little shopping for some clothes for Ronnie. Can you believe that I did NOT get one item of clothing? i got some more lotion and body wash from Bath & Body Works and then a 36 cupcake caddy from Williams & Sonoma, which I may add was quite possibly the highlight of my baking years....ANYWAYS, I went into Anthropologie and wanted EVERYTHING in there I may add, but walked out with NOTHING. It was painful and I didn't like any of it....but I did it. I can't say that I am proud of myself....but it was a first. :) THEN, we ate sushi at Kona Grill (my fav place to eat sushi I think) and saw Water for Elephants. I really liked the movie. HOWEVER, the movie made Marlena and Jacob seem so scandalous! They didn't make her husband August seem bad at all! Leave it to a movie to ruin a good book! HA! Yes, I did get 2 containers of Dibs to eat....how did you know that? Did my fat girl guilty conscience rat me out again? Stupid whore....jk LOL
SUNDAY- Easter. Woke up, we had cinnamon roll Sunday (which we haven't had in SUCH a long time), got packed, showered, and headed to big LONGVIEW. Whoop whoop... We took separate vehicles in case Ronnie has to stay longer to work cuz I have to come back before Friday. I have to make cupcakes for Josie's baby shower that is Saturday at 2. So anyways, I drove. AND I got pulled over in Gladewater for speeding. I have GOT to use the cruise control...or at least pay attention to the speed limit...actually....I think that I need to do both in order to effectively use the cruise control. LUCKILY, there was a break in at the local Pawn Shop there in Gladewater....so he had to go. HAHA! It was pretty funny actually....the whole conversation that took place...I will blog it later....possibly give a reenactment.....wouldn't that be entertaining! OOOOOO I will put it on my list of things to do! You know....that list that I rarely get to mark anything off of except when it says "pay bills". UGH......
MONDAY- work work work, buy clearance lamp at TJ Maxx for my livingroom that is super cute! I will have to take a pic and post it! Then mama bought me 2 new pairs of eye covers! YESSSSSS.......then we went to the yogurt place....which I already told you about.
TUESDAY- still here at work.....haven't left, haven't taken a break...well we can count this post as my 1st 15 minute break of the day......
WEDNESDAY- HOPEFULLY SOMETHING GRAND WILL HAPPEN!
