Tidbits from Grayce

Totally wearing my polka dot turquoise shorts from Anthropologie tomorrow! YESSSSSSS! Did I mention that I am gonna apply at Jenna B's Boutique here in Dallas? I want a part time job in fashion. Something that I can work in the afternoons for a few hours when I am here. I don't know how well that will work out....but we will see! TURQUOISE SHORTS TOMORROW!!!!!!!

Well, I didn't smuggle a kitten to Dallas. I just brought back the original zoo with me....all 4 of them...I mean 5 of them....Zoey, Nilla, Baxter, Scooby, and Ronnie. LOL.

Hogie and I decided at supper, which I had a really good time at....had quality conversation...laughing, crying, snorting, you know....Grayce and Hogie time.....ANYWAYS...we decided that we are going to train and run a 5k. I already looked up training schedules for us to follow so that we can run one in the next few months. I am going to start tomorrow! YESSSSSSS! Running long distance, in Texas, in the heat, sweating, running behind old men in short shorts....hmmmmm, maybe this isn't such a great idea. LOL. No, we are DOING this!

I had a good time with my husband at dinner tonight. A much needed good time. We saw an old friend of ours and had some good laughs and reminiscing of summers past. Now it is almost 1:30 in the morning.....I JUST took my sleep pills....which means by 3:00am, I will just be going to sleep. What a GREAT way to start the next day.....sleep deprived. Hopefully, the pool at Josie and Geoff's apartment won't be too crowded and we can go swim. I gotta take Nilla on a walk for sure tomorrow. She can go on my first training day for the 5k! AND I gotta take Josie's pictures either tomorrow or Monday! I already forgot about them! LOL!

Ok, well there is quality TV that recorded that I must watch.....Jerseylicious. That show is like a car wreck....you can't take your eyes off of it and you keep watching regardless of what is happening. LOL. GOOD NIGHT....or GOOD MORNING!

Well it is Memorial Day Weekend!!!!!! You see those exclamation points? Well that is about as exciting as my weekend is going to be. LOL! I am going to start my weekend off with heading to Carino's to meet Hogie there for supper. Wine, Italian Margaritas, stuffed mushrooms, and quality girl time! YESSSSSS! Then I am gonna head home and try to smuggle a kitten back to Dallas with me (literally).

I did go to the mall at lunch today to help Jamie find a swim suit for this weekend. Complete SUCCESS! She got 2 suits! YESSSS! That is a major accomplishment for a woman now days! LOL! I did hit up Victoria's Secret....they are having 7 pairs of the PINK brand panties (which are my favorite anyways) for $25.50! SCORE! Then Bath & Body Works (yes I am a junkie, no I do not want rehab) is having 2 for $20 large candles and buy 3 get 3 free on all their signature scent stuff.....so I stocked back up on bubble bath and shower gel! AND I got a new car scent......Caribbean Escape....it is so YUMMY! I did NOT get a cookie or a piece of pizza.....even though there was this very thoughtless insensitive little boy carrying a large piece of cheese pizza in front of me at the mall....and it took everything I had to not knock him down and take off with the piece of pizza....yes it did cross my mind....but somehow the scenario ended up with me in handcuffs for pizza....didn't seem worth it at the end. LOL.

I also am hoping for sunny weather for a little bit of tanning this weekend too. OH! And maternity pics of Josie hopefully too! She is about to pop and we keep running into scheduling problems....like me not in Dallas or rain....crappy stuff, you know. LOL.

I am loving my long blonde hair still.....and my feathers.....and my light turquoise colored shirt today. So with all that in mind.....cheers to long blonde hair, my feathers, my light turquoise colored shirt, Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret panties, Jamie finding 2 swim suits, me not throwing down with the kid for pizza at the mall, supper with Hogie tonight, the kitten that I am going to smuggle to Dallas, lots of sunshine this weekend, Josie not going into labor so we can do her Maternity pics, diet sunkist in my mason jar, and hopefully a snow cone with Jamie if she gets a break!

Gosh darn the flag-poot-a-laggy-wingy-flat-cracking-flagnogging-crapper-pooper-doopy-doop-doop-loopy-gum-dumb-lib-boo-frumpy-dump-frashy-gus-gas-ball-cracker-shorty-thing-a- jiggy-heck! It is only 3:00.....and I have a major storm a-brewin here at work with Quickbooks. And the only thing that would fix it is a snow cone......

Ok, so apparently the end of the world is Saturday. So I have planned my last 3 days to live...here goes:

THURSDAY- sleep in, eat donuts, punch all the annoying people that I come across in the face, eat more donuts, go on a hot air balloon ride, go buy all the kittens and puppies that I can find, tell the bank tellers that they are the slowest people in the world, rob that same bank, eat more donuts, eat an entire bowl of cake batter, watch Despicable Me

FRIDAY-recover from Thursdays event by sleeping in again, eat an entire bowl of blueberry muffin mix batter, roll around on the ground with all the puppies and kittens that I bought yesterday, wear cowboy boots and a bikini all day, call up one person in particular and tell them to meet me outside and beat the crap out of them, get tattoo on my forehead that says "leave me alone", swim in a pool made of noodles, watch Despicable Me again

SATURDAY- eat mac & cheese all day, go spend all the money I stole from the bank on Thursday in Anthropologie and Louis Vuitton, call up Edward and confess my undying love for him, eat more mac & cheese, let the doggies and Scoob eat all the cheeseburgers they could possibly want, wrestle a snake, get in a food fight with just cake, play demolition derby with my car, watch Despicable Me, fly to the beach and wait for the world to end.....

SUNDAY (since the world didn't end on Saturday)- get someone to bail me out of jail from robbing a bank, try to give away all the kittens and puppies that I bought, totally regret the tattoo on my forehead, totally NOT regret beating up that dumb girl that I didn't say who it was, try to explain to the car insurance people what happened to my car, go car shopping since I demolished mine the day before, clean up all the dog and cat throw up from the abundance of cheeseburgers the day before, probably sick from all the mac & cheese, donuts, and cake batter....so spend most of the day in the bathroom......and then watch Despicable Me

Couldn't conform to burnette for long......all Jamie's fault! It's so pretty! Sparkle like diamond in sky!

Ok, so today is hair torture day....I get my extensions sewn back in my hair....tonight's sleep forecast is looking gloomy.....I feel a headache coming on.....oh lordy.....I just gotta remind myself...beauty is pain....which means that my hair is VERY VERY VERY BEAUTIFUL! LOL

My dad sent me flowers this morning....I love getting flowers.....that was very thoughtful and sweet of him. I love that big yellow flower....I do not know what it is....but it is fun looking!

We just found out that Ronnie's grandpa died. It is his dad's dad. His name was Bill Weaver. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks friends....

I love this BIYA dress....I feel pretty when I wear it...unless I am standing next to Jeff's girlfriend....then I feel like a putz....

I FINALLY get to repay Jamie for a portion of the hair services that she give me....I am making her some cupcakes tonight for her Relay For Life that is Saturday morning! I get to make my FAVORTIE kind! So excited! I need to come up with a name for these!!!! They are lemon cake with strawberry frosting, then the sides rolled in pink cake sparkle and the top covered in coconut! Hmmmmmm......I will have to think long and hard about the name for these. Something girly.......like Barbie. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO PERRRRRRFECT! I shall call these my Barbie Cupcakes! I will take pics and post them tomorrow!

Ok, I went Maternity Dress shopping with my friend Josie for her baby shower...they had a baby bump in the dressing room.....so OF COURSE I had to put it on!!

This is the new bedding that I am DYING to have from Anthropologie....I even went and looked at it....TO DIE FOR....LOVE LOVE LOVE! And it goes perfect with my grinch green wall!!! Did I mention that it is on sale? DING DING DING! WINNER WINNER!!


Here is my counter in my kitchen while I was baking 75 cupcakes for a baby shower last weekend....let's just say that my house smelled divine...and that my daily food intake consisted of cake batter, bald cupcakes, and icing along the way....my tummy did NOT feel good come supper time....ugh.....I will have to post more pics later of the actual decorated cupcakes! They are on my real camera...

I would just like to say that I am highly offended when I walk INTO the ladies restroom and the automatic air freshener goes off....RUDE! haha

I found some kittens!!!!! They are in Longview under the porch at the Dudley's that closed down off the Loop! Ronnie spotted them on the way to drop me off at work yesterday morning! We pulled in and they ran under the porch. The mama cat was there too....let's just say that she was LESS than happy to see me. I tried to give her a donut hole and she almost attacked me! I mean, it is a girl...and she didn't want the donut hole......what is WRONG with her! So the kittens didn't come back out at all and I figured that I should just leave them alone.

I thought about them allllllllllllll day long....so mama took me to Walgreens and I got a few cans of cat food to take to them after work. When Ronnie picked me up we went straight there! They were on the other side of the porch this time! Mama cat was NO where to be found (thank freaking goodness!!). They still wouldn't come out. So I opened the can of food and spread it out on the ground and went and got in the truck. We waited for a minute and 2 of them came out and were eating! They are soooooo cute! There are 5 of them! 3 tortoiseshell calico, 1 black, and 1 tiger! They all have blue eyes and are scared as the dickens of me! I even called them precious...nope, they didn't budge. I am pretty sure that they WANTED to come over to me, but mama cat probably threatened their LIVES if they came over to me if I came back! HAHA!

So I am gonna go back after work today and leave more food, go home, eat, feed the dogs, walk the dogs, and then hopefully come back and stay for a bit and try to coax them out with some food or something shiny. HAHA! They look like they are about 6 weeks old....Ronnie already said that I couldn't have one. :( There is one calico that I have my eye on....but I won't keep her....I have enough animals at my house! Zoey would LOOOOOOOVE a kitten though.....that would put life back into her.....when we first got Scoob, she was soooooo motherly and loving to him. If she could still see, she would still be that way. She still licks Scoob occasionally....but not like she use to. Poor Scoob. ANYWAYS.....I hope that I can get all 5 of them this week so that I can take them to the pound. Someone will adopt these little kitties....they are so small! They are too close to roads to stay there forever and they will get hit....I would be devastated if I ever drove by there and saw that! OMG....I don't even want to think about it! UGH!

OPERATION WRANGLE THE KITTIES OUT OF THE PORCH IS IN FULL EFFECT!
