Tidbits from Grayce

I remembered the way! I made it here! My house is still standing!....and my nice yet still sort of creepy neighbor fixed my door that leads into my garage.....very thankful yet sort of creeped out at the same time. Well they brought over hot fresh cookies one time.....now that I think about it....I LOVE THEM!....and I love DALLAS! Good food, Northpark Mall at my finger tips, Pinkberrys EVERYWHERE, Whole Foods, violence, kidnappings, drugs, gangs.....a dream come TRUE! YESSSSSSSSS! Well I didn't get kidnapped today.....come to think of it....I didn't really leave my house except to go eat....so I guess today does NOT count as a safe day. JK LOL..... tomorrow....now tomorrow is a different story. Ronnie is gonna take me to ride bikes.....if I am better and not complaining about a sore throat, fever, and headaches....which for his sake, AND MINE of course....I hope is true. Tomorrow is the last day of 2010...freaks me OUT man!....so I bought 2 bottles of wine and they are chilling in the fridge AS WE SPEAK! Plan for tomorrow night: go get food early so we don't have to go anywhere....the end! hahahaha SUCH a party animal...I know....I gotta wear my game face tomorrow.....hoping to stay up past midnight....not really getting my hopes up....especially if this wine has any say in it.....ok that's all for the randomness that I have stored up....one last thing....is it normal for someone to crave Sprinkles cupcakes and Taco Bell at the same time....it has to be....cuz I would say that I am a PRETTY NORMAL GAL....don't cha think so too?.......

I got the new bed!...not SCOOBY! bwaaaaaahahahahahahah hahahahahahahah!

Well I have been having a, how do I put this.....TRYING day today on this rainy Wednesday...and I am getting sick because my throat hurts sooooo bad. I am sitting here in my chair and I say "God, I need a sign that everything will be ok." Selfish of me, maybe, to say that to God. But I did it. Less than an hour later, I get that sign. We have been shooting this MyPlates commercial downstairs. One of the people in it is a pastor here in Longview, I believe. He comes up to say hello to my dad and stops to talk to me for a minute. He tells me that things will be better in 2011 and that he is praying for me. Nothing specific...just that. God works in mysterious ways. I didn't tell him anything, and he starts quoting scripture to me that totally pertains to my day today. It was incredible to be part of a miracle in my book. Nothing big, but big enough for the smallest amount of hope. Now God.....about this rain..... :)

Headed home tomorrow.....well that is the plan....I hope that I remember how to get home! It has been so long.....and I am gonna stay there as LOOOOOOOONG as I can!...which translates over to coming back here to work next Tuesday!

I do have good news! Kristie and Jamie are gonna come stay with me next Saturday...January 8th for some quality girl time! Which means that I have to clean and take down my tree! Dang it....

I have been in Longview since last Tuesday.....the 7th. I have been living off of these clothing items since then: 3 pair of panties, 2 bras, 2 tanks, 2 leggings, one pair of boots, my uggs, a lightweight blue leather coat, a dress, 2 shirts, and 3 scarves. I have been washing and rewashing every other day! I wanna go home! I hope no one broke in and stole all my Christmas presents! I am just glad that I happened to bring Scooby with me this time....otherwise he would be all by him lonesome for almost 2 weeks! Him is tearing up Granny's house with Templeton....they love each other. So sweet! Hopefully this weekend I can head back up there and check the out home front! But the animals are loving seeing Granny and Grandpa everyday...that's for sure!

Ok, so I ask myself..."How does one get soooooo lost trying to find a grocery store, when that one has an iphone and navigation in their spaceship car?" Well, here is my answer.....I have no freaking clue....but I did it....yes I did....yessir I did it. I should call the Guiness Book of Records or something....cuz I am pretty sure that I set a record tonight on how long someone can get lost trying to find a grocery store....when CLEARLY there is basically one every few blocks. Yeah I don't know either....I need to just go to bed......

Well, since moving, I feel like I have had NO time for anything....other than traveling back to Longview to work, trying to spend every second with Ronnie when he is in town every few weeks, giving dog baths, and trying to keep Scoob out of everything. This last month has been NUTS! Moving, trying to unpack, load up the dogs, drive to Longview, work work work work work work work, load the dogs back up, drive back to Dallas, work work work work work, unpack more boxes, sleep in (hopefully), get PINKBERRY that is down the street from my house (YESSSSS!), aaaaaaaaaaaaaand unpack some more....then REPEAT!

I have totally been dropping the ball on tidbitting....completely, like I should just delete my blog and never do it again....JUST KIDDING....don't panic my loyal followers, no worries!

I think that Ronnie may get to come home tomorrow...which is great! That is like 3 days early! He was gonna come home Tuesday or Wednesday for Thanksgiving, but Sunday is much better! We are getting Baylee on Wednesday, so I will get to see Ronnie for a few days by myself so we can spend some much needed time together...

Thanksgiving is this week, which means that I gotta break out the Christmas stuff and put up the tree. Ugh...that means MORE boxes to fish out and unpack! That does NOT sound fun right now. I may wait and do that next week sometime, or even next weekend when I feel like I have a little more set up in the house. I really wanna get a black Christmas tree....yes black...sounds gloomy....but so classy and sheik looking! I should look on ebay....I am sure that they are expensive though.....

I got some paint today, and I kid you not, it is the color of the Grinch who stole Christmas. Yes, that bright, booger green color.....and I LOVE IT! I am painting a wall in my bedroom that color, the wall with my bed on it! I also painted a square in my bathroom that I am hanging a picture on.....I think I may paint a little above the toilet.....but I gotta decide what I want to go on that wall before I just start painting it. I think that I may do 2 colors on that wall....like a medium gray and the Grinch green.....like overlapping squares...that would be neat.

I watched Charlie St Cloud tonight....wasn't too impressed with it.....yes, I did cry on certain parts, buuuuuuut...overall, wasn't too impressed.

I FINALLY got my nightstands that I have been obsessing over for like 2 months...the mirrored ones, well really they are end tables, but they are PERFECT for my bedroom as night stands. I have so many ideas floating around in my head for what I want the decor in this house to look like. And they include: the grinch green, mirrored furniture, silver, copper, black and white damask print, chocolate brown....is any of this making sense? Cuz it all just sounds EXPENSIVE to me...like I gotta start all over and get new stuff. Don't panic Ronnie, I didn't say that I was going to do it...I said that they were ideas floating around. I do know that I wanna get rid of all the vases and the deep red color...done with that.

Christmas is coming up...I already have Ronnie's present...no I cannot divulge what it is to you, because sometimes, he says that he reads this....so NO RONNIE, I am not telling you what it is and you will never guess what it is! All I know that I want is LASIK, no, make that a need, not a want....but that is a bit steep.....so I will settle for stuff from Anthropologie, a make-up case from Sephora, a super nice set of make-up brushes, BUUUUUUT, I will just make it easy....one thing....only ONE item that really would make my day, night, morning, afternoon, blah blah blah....and that one item is.....drum roll please.......an Artsy Louis Vuitton purse. See, that doesn't sound difficult, just one thing! So Ronnie, if you are listening, I mean reading....you should have NO questions! :) JK LOL....I also like sweet potato french fries and pinkberry..... :)

Ok it's late, and I gotta get up before noon tomorrow....well, actually today.....so I gotta go watch a little TV to reach my American quota of hours watched everyday! GOOD NIGHT NEVERLAND!

STRESSED spelled backwards is DESSERTS! YESSSSSSSSS!

Well, they didn't say that she is near death....so that is about the only good thing from this visit. Mama said that the doctor told us that we are losing the battle on diabetes. She also has a lot of blood in her pee. He said that she either has a severe bladder infection or she has bladder cancer. If it is the infection, then she will start to get better by Thursday with the antibiotic that we are giving her. If she doesn't get better, then we have to take her back Friday for an x-ray to see if it is cancer or not. He didn't say how long he thought that she had or anything (unless my mom is sparing me the news), but mama told him that we don't want her to suffer AT ALL and to please let us know the second that they suspect that......
Special thanks to mama for taking her.....I really appreciate it mama....and I know that Zoey does too.....we love you!

Ok, so I lied to you all. I promised that I would blog last weekend......aaaaaaand I didn't. Of course, I had EVERY intention of blogging....HOWEVER....I didn't realize that we didn't have internet at our new house yet.....so I opened my computer on Saturday ready to have at it....and no internet....SORRY!

I will do it this weekend, I PROMISE! I need to take pics of our new house to show! Of course, I do NOT have it put together AT ALL....but I do have pathways in every room so that Zoey can find her way around! Poor little lamb!......

This is Cooper.....my best friend Hogie's little boy and her husband Colby! Cooper was a pumpkin for halloween! Isn't he the cutest little pumpkin you ever did see?!?!?!?! They were the people on the front page of the paper that I blogged about a few weeks back too.....

Here is Scooby....sleeping in my lap on the way back to Dallas. Don't let him fool you.....he walks around the car meowing for the first hour and a half and then settles down for the last 30 minutes and sleeps.....yes everytime I go back to Dallas and everytime I am coming to Longview.....but him is still my sweetie pie!
Ok so funny story about the Boogie Wipes photo.....Ronnie and I are at a walgreens in Dallas on the way home. We are at the register and he turns around to look at all the little stuff at the register that they try to get you to buy last minute and he sees these.....and I quote.... "OH MY GOSH! Babe I need those so bad! That is what I need! See! Feel my nose right here! It's so sensitive!" Thought I was going to die laughing right there....

You know that you have stooped to an all time low when: you grab a handful of candy knowing that you are only gonna eat one, so that you don' t have to get up in an hour to get another one.....um, big ol booty anyone? yeah....right here!

I have not forgotten about blogging.....I have been sooooo super busy since my birthday, that I haven't even had time to do, well, ANYTHING! I will try to update and post pics of my last few weeks sometime this weekend.

One of my best good friends Hogie called me last weekend and said that her husband and little boy were on the front page of the Longview News Journal Sunday paper! They were at a rodeo and snapped this photo of Cooper (little boy) and Colby (her husband)....how adorable!!!!!!!

Well Hogie, Kristie, and I went to Canton Saturday....with every intention of eating everything fried and full of fat and cellulite! YESSSSSSSS! Well let me just list all of the items that we all shared: paninis, meat pies (this is was allllll Hogie), ice cream with chocolate and caramel, dr peppers, water, lemonade, sweet tea (not for me!), corn dog, fried oreos, fried twinkies, kettle corn, and oatmeal pecan cookies!!!!! Yeah I said it! No we didn't all eat this individually, we shared.....it was gooooooooood!
The weather was great! It wasn't hot, but with all the people there, it made it crowded, which made it hot! My feet STILL hurt from all the walking! We had a great time though! My parents were there....mom rattled off this list of food that dad had already eaten....and it was only 11:45! Ewwwwwww....
Anyways....we did come to one VERY important conclusion....fried twinkies and waaaaaaay better than a funnel cake any day of the week! Please see the before and after the fried twinkies and oreos pictures!.....



I got a snake ring, a phone cover, a shirt, a hat, and some doggie treats! All I have a picture of is the snake ring....cuz the phone cover is on my phone already...if you saw this phone cover...you would have needed it too! It was in a revolving case with lights on it! I am such a fish...attracted to shiny objects...ridiculous...but it is super cute and I love it! There was sooooo much random stuff there....made you think "what the heck and who the heck wants this?"...or more importantly, "who the heck came up with the idea to make this?"....um....please see the moose picture if you want an example.....

Ok, so Dr Pepper was suppose to be included in this whole no sweets binge...yes I should have known this....but WHATEVER! And I subconsciously had a candy bar last night.....I was driving to meet Ronnie in Louisiana and I almost fell asleep driving...so I pulled over and got a candy bar....not thinking...WHOOPSIE! So I just told Kristie that I needed to just start all over cuz I have messed it ALLLLLLLLLL UPPPPP!

Well, thanks to my friend Kristie, somehow I have agreed to go on a 2 week "no sweets" binge with her. How in the heck did I agree to this? Do I not realize that sweets are a necessity in my life?...more like they are the sanity in my life!!!!!!!!!!! I NEED them!

Ok, so after getting up, standing in the mirror in my underwear, then weighing myself, I am pretty sure that do NOT need sweets. In fact, I am pretty sure that I need a "no fatty foods" binge, a "drink water only" binge, a "nothing fried" binge, a "no carb" binge, and a "basically just starve yourself you fatty" binge. UGH! And to think that I was in a bikini at the water park yesterday. WHAT WAS I THINKING!?!?!?!?!??!

So now I would like to apologize to all the people at the water park yesterday....for thinking at that I should still be allowed to wear a bikini in public without a cover up. For thinking that I still have my early twenties figure without flaws...cuz CLEARLY that is no longer the case here. I mean, boobs can't fix everything! UGH!.....

I totally just played a 90 point word on Words with Friends!!!!......on the game with my 10 year old step daughter.....I am going to hell.

I went to Hastings last night, rented 4 movies and bought a pocket dictionary to learn Italian....what is my problem....I mean really? And yes Ronnie is out of town so I will be watching all 4 movies BY MYSELF while I teach myself how to find out where the pasta and pizza is in ITALIAN! HA! That's how I roll in my free time! Nerdy and Lonely at it's peak in my life.....

Well I just saw that my brother has this intelligent, encouraging, enlightening, and everything smart and favorite child blog......and then there is mine...loud, obnoxious, non intelligent, bright, and blunt. His is about dreams......
WELL....then let me just tell you about my dream from last night and what I learned from it.......AHEM...ATTENTION PLEASE!!!!!

MY DREAM: I was being chased by these giant pepperonis.....they wouldn't quit running really fast after me! I couldn't hide from them....they always found me! They ran soooo fast!

WHAT I LEARNED: When you order 2 pizzas for supper: one canadian bacon and mushroom, and the other one pepperoni... don't just eat the canadian bacon and mushroom....you need to include the pepperoni and eat some of that pizza too.....it's not nice....

Rook at how handsome my wittle man is! Him is getting so big! Him is just chillin in the bathwoom on his cwinkle bug toy while I am getting weady for bed....

Congrats to my longtime friend Chelsea Hembrough Garcia on the birth of her first child with her husband Emmanuel Garcia on Friday morning! Happy Birthday Christiano! You are adorable and precious!

Then my husband rode horses Sunday morning.....YEEEEEEHAWWWWW!!!!!!!! (I was sleeping....no horse is worth my only day to sleep in.....especially in this hot weather!)

And these are some pretty flowers that I just delivered to a lady that we do business with that just got married and a promotion at work!


Did I mention that I almost died from a migraine on Friday night? Well not really died.....but I asked my dad to come get me and take me to the ER....so if I WILLINGLY go get medical attention....I MUST be dying.....anyways....I am alive! :)

I am seriously thinking about opening up a cupcake business.....Grayce Cakes, Cupcakerooza (my fav), or something else that I haven't thought of yet. And I wanna have funny names for cupcakes, like Nilla Bean, The Baxter, blah blah blah......thinking thinking thinking......

Well Ronnie and I basically toured Texas these last couple of days...we went everywhere it seems like: Midlothian, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Houston, and home! We left Thursday morning really early and headed to some truck place in Midlothian. We had to be there by 8 am...so needless to say, I was sleeping the whole time. :) Then we went to Austin to eat, shop just a smidge, get Orange Cup, and tour the Capital. Here are some pics that I took.....the first one is walking up to the Capital and then the second one is my fav....I was looking up to the ceiling! I love this one!!!!!


Then we headed to San Antonio to stay the night, eat on the riverwalk, and relax for one night! Well, the riverwalk was nice! I don't know what my deal is, but I LOVE eating outside at places like that! We ate mexican food of course :) My fav thing to eat!!! We were gonna go to the Alamo...yes like a bunch of tourists...BUT we forgot. There was some problems with some trucks or something, so from like 2am to 6am, he was on the phone with different people for whatever work reason! UGH!
We woke up Friday and drove to Alice, Texas, where all the trucks are stationed at. He had to pick up some stuff, drop off some stuff, meet some new driver, meet with some people...yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah....I was sleeping in the truck.
We FINALLY got to Corpus Christi around suppertime on Friday! Ate at Joe's....Ronnie downed 4 pounds of crawfish...SICKO! I mean, how can you eat that stuff! I know that they are dead and all....but they are staring at you while you eat them! YUCKY!



Then we drove around and looked at the houses on the beach....this was my FAVORITE! The picture doesn't do it justice AT ALL!


We woke up Saturday morning....ok ok ok....we woke up at noon on Saturday and went to the beach for the afternoon! SOOOOOO nice and relaxing! I need to live on the beach somewhere....I think that I wouldn't be as stressed out...but then I may not be able to keep a job because I wouldn't want to leave the house! Ha! Here are a couple of pics that I took while there. I didn't bring the charger for my real camera....so everything is courtesy of the iPhone!

We ate at Landry's that night, and walked along the beach wall. Weather was perfect! I loved every second of it! We woke up a little earlier the next day. We went and toured the USS Lexington.....bad idea in the summer with NO MOVING AIR! OMG! SOOOOO HOT! But it was cool to see all that stuff. I only took a few pics...but here they are!


We finished the day off with a cheeseburger and a long trip home....ok ok ok we stopped for Orange Cup in Houston and I got 2...THERE...YOU HAPPY! I admitted it!

All in all, we had a great time! Always great to get away and spend time with each other! And we are both still alive! HA! Oh wait! I almost forgot my most favorite picture from the USS Lexington! I am sure that you will see why! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
