Tidbits from Grayce

Well Ronnie and I basically toured Texas these last couple of days...we went everywhere it seems like: Midlothian, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Houston, and home! We left Thursday morning really early and headed to some truck place in Midlothian. We had to be there by 8 am...so needless to say, I was sleeping the whole time. :) Then we went to Austin to eat, shop just a smidge, get Orange Cup, and tour the Capital. Here are some pics that I took.....the first one is walking up to the Capital and then the second one is my fav....I was looking up to the ceiling! I love this one!!!!!


Then we headed to San Antonio to stay the night, eat on the riverwalk, and relax for one night! Well, the riverwalk was nice! I don't know what my deal is, but I LOVE eating outside at places like that! We ate mexican food of course :) My fav thing to eat!!! We were gonna go to the Alamo...yes like a bunch of tourists...BUT we forgot. There was some problems with some trucks or something, so from like 2am to 6am, he was on the phone with different people for whatever work reason! UGH!
We woke up Friday and drove to Alice, Texas, where all the trucks are stationed at. He had to pick up some stuff, drop off some stuff, meet some new driver, meet with some people...yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah....I was sleeping in the truck.
We FINALLY got to Corpus Christi around suppertime on Friday! Ate at Joe's....Ronnie downed 4 pounds of crawfish...SICKO! I mean, how can you eat that stuff! I know that they are dead and all....but they are staring at you while you eat them! YUCKY!



Then we drove around and looked at the houses on the beach....this was my FAVORITE! The picture doesn't do it justice AT ALL!


We woke up Saturday morning....ok ok ok....we woke up at noon on Saturday and went to the beach for the afternoon! SOOOOOO nice and relaxing! I need to live on the beach somewhere....I think that I wouldn't be as stressed out...but then I may not be able to keep a job because I wouldn't want to leave the house! Ha! Here are a couple of pics that I took while there. I didn't bring the charger for my real camera....so everything is courtesy of the iPhone!

We ate at Landry's that night, and walked along the beach wall. Weather was perfect! I loved every second of it! We woke up a little earlier the next day. We went and toured the USS Lexington.....bad idea in the summer with NO MOVING AIR! OMG! SOOOOO HOT! But it was cool to see all that stuff. I only took a few pics...but here they are!


We finished the day off with a cheeseburger and a long trip home....ok ok ok we stopped for Orange Cup in Houston and I got 2...THERE...YOU HAPPY! I admitted it!

All in all, we had a great time! Always great to get away and spend time with each other! And we are both still alive! HA! Oh wait! I almost forgot my most favorite picture from the USS Lexington! I am sure that you will see why! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I have changed it up!!!!!! It was time.....out with the cupcakes and in with the....whatever you want to call this cute little thing I have created!

Sitting outside on the riverwalk in San Antonio with Ronnie enjoying Mexican food....life is good!

I am taking tomorrow and Friday off to go to Midlothian TX and Corpus with Ronnie. I had to kennel the dogs cuz mama is gone and dad is going with Jeff to his race in Waco. I am VERY NERVOUS about Zoey being in there. She is blind and will be scared and no one to sit by her so she feels comfortable. Why do I get this way about my dogs.....well cuz they are my babies! Pray that everything will be ok with all of them while we are gone....they will be in there until Monday....eek.

Things to pack for trip:
-Kindle and Kindle charger
-eye covers
-Edward blanket and pillow
-bikini
-headphones
-sleep aid
-fingernail polish
-iPhone and charger
-snacks and water
...can't think of anything else that I could POSSIBLY need.... :)

SERIOUSLY? I mean, I try to smuggle in a bottle of water since it is over 3oz.....but 18 monkeys.....wow. He wins.

Ok, I don't even know if these guys are new...but I am TOTALLY DIGGING the band Civil Twilight! I am lovin every song!...especially #4 and #5...Coldplay meets Kings of Leon....great combo! Check em out!

Have I mentioned how much I love tortilla soup from Jalapeno Tree? Um cuz I totally do! Hey there tortilla soup....yeah you.....I am talking to you....I LOVE YOU!!!! GET IN MY BELLY!

I think that when you listen to a movie and you know exactly what is going on....um....that means that you have seen that movie WAAAAAAAY too many times. Wait, how did you know that I was talking about Twilight and New Moon....I didn't even give you ANY idea of what I was talking about.....good grief....is my obsession public now or something? Gaw.....

I need a cupcake.

Needing some serious strength and prayer right now....

Well another confession folks.....I saw Eclipse for a 3rd time. Yeah so what.....I liked it....and I will do it again if I want to! SO THERE!

Mindy (from work) has the new iPhone and I am CHOMPING AT THE BIT! This is ridiculous! I can't believe that I do NOT already have it....what is my problem! I did however, update my phone.....so I have the new iPhone software....so I guess that will hold me over until I break down and get one. I can wait....have patience grasshopper.....BUT I WANT A NEW LOUIS VUITTON! UGH!
Ronnie is coming home today.....haven't seen him in 2 weeks.....crazy life now.....going from seeing your husband everyday to every 2 weeks or so is NOT my cup of tea....and I don't even like tea! HA!

Rain rain go away, come again another day...actually....just come at night while I am trying to sleep....seems to work better for everyone that way anyways....

I have a headache. YUCK.
I want sushi. YUM.

Ok funniest thing ever.....this is what my bread bag says.....I am jealous of my bread.....hahaahaha

Well, the wait is finally over! Eclipse is out and I have already seen it twice! Ok confession.....Jamie, Jonna, and I went at 5:00 Tuesday and watched Twilight, then New Moon, then Eclipse! We were in that movie theater in the same seats from 5pm to 2am! That is a freaking long time! My back, knees, and neck hurt! OMG! But I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Eclipse was great! Best one of all 3 definitely! I am torn between Jacob and Edward now! I can't believe it! I was 110% team Edward...until this movie! Now I would say that I am emotionally torn between the 2! AHHHHHH!

We had a great time though! Prob the best time that I have ever had at the movies! And everyone was talking and screaming throughout the movie whenever Jacob would take his shirt off or Edward would have a close-up shot....it was great! Jamie, Jonna, and I were able to laugh and talk and have a great time!

THEEEEEEEEEEEN, I saw it again the next day with Jonna (again), Hogie, Kristie, Kara, and Christia! Loved it just as much!!!!! Yes I am PSYCHO and NO I don't care what you think! I am totally doing it again next year when the next movie comes out.....dang....that is gonna be a looooooong day at the movies.....4 in a row?!?!?!?! I need to start preparing myself now! ha!

Ronnie is out of town....has been since Monday.....ugh.....I hate him being gone so long! I have no plans this weekend....well, other than sleeping and leading a blind dog around :) Poor Dody Doodle!!! Hogie invited me to come with her, Colby, and Cooper to a little get together at the lady's house that she had her baby shower at. I hate flying solo at things though. But I do love me some Hogie and Cooper time! Him is ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!
